Missouri is one of the midwest states of the United States. The capital city is Jefferson City, and the biggest city is Kansas City. It is adjacent to Iowa in the north, Nebraska and Kansas in the west, Illinois in the east, Arkansas in the south, and Kentucky and Tennessee in the south east. Of the approximately 6 million people, 86% are white and 12% are black Americans.
There are a myriad of places to be seen in Missouri, one of America's medium-sized states: the Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail, the Oregon National Historic Trail, the Ozark National Scenic Riverways and Wilson's Creek National Battlefield.
