The Colorado River flowing 1107 miles in the state is the longest river in Arizona. Its major cities are Phoenix (capital), Tucson, Mesa, Tempe, Glendale, Scottsdale and Yuma. It is estimated that the provincial population is more than 3.6 million. Arizona is the sixth largest state with an area of 295,260 km².
Arizona has many great orchestras such as the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra, the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra. Grand Canyon National Park is one of the most famous parks in America and every year four million people come to see the Grand Canyon. Other state-of-the-art venues include Coronado National Memorial, Painted Rocks State Historic Park, Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park and Petrified Forest National Park. The state is also an interesting place for researchers of history, geology and archeology, as well as for fishermen, campers, hunters and tourists.
